Penketh Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Midday Assistant. This position requires the applicant to supervise children, both in the dining hall and the playground during the lunch time period. The exact duties will be set out by the Headteacher in accordance with the needs of the school but will normally include those shown in the job description.

School Based Teacher Training

TEACHER TRAINING PLACES AVAILABLE

Generate Teaching Hub's Teacher Training programme is an innovative approach to initial teacher training and a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to ‘learn on the job.’

This is a school-based training programme, accredited by Liverpool Hope University, that allows graduates to become teachers. Successful trainees are awarded PGCE with QTS at the end of the course.

The one year programme consists of 3 placement opportunities, a vast range of training days, enrichment experiences and visits.

Graduate entry requirements include:

  • degree classification 2:1 or above
  • grade C or above in Maths, English and Science
