Alderman Bolton Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a caring and resilient Safeguarding & Pastoral Lead to join our dynamic and high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school that is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of our pupils and their families.
Our school has an inclusive and supportive ethos where every child is given the opportunity to thrive. As a Safeguarding Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and well-being of our pupils, ensuring our culture of high vigilance is upheld. You will also work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support attendance, safeguarding, and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the school’s safeguarding practices, ensuring compliance with all safeguarding policies and legislation.
  • Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to maintain and promote a culture of safeguarding across the school.
  • Support pupils and families with their attendance, safeguarding concerns, and behaviour management.
  • Act as the key point of contact for any safeguarding concerns within the school.
  • Be proactive in identifying risks and responding appropriately to keep children safe.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be compassionate, proactive, and resilient in approach.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to transforming the lives of children and upholding our trust values.
  • Have experience working in a safeguarding role, ideally within a school environment.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and families to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Alderman Bolton - Midday Assistant

HOURS: 6.25 per week DEADLINE EXPIRED

GRADE: Two Scp 3 6.25 hours Per Week

HOURS: Term Time only. Monday to Friday hours between 11.30am to 13.45pm 6.25 hours per week

CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a committed Midday Assistant to join our team and help ensure a smooth and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our students.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to oversee and support students during lunchtime. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanour and a passion for working with children.

Midday assistants are responsible for helping with the care and supervision of children and the behaviour management during the lunchtime period. The work will be carried out in the dining room, school or playground.

School Based Teacher Training

HOURS: Minimum 120 placement days, plus a timetable of training opportunities
TEACHER TRAINING PLACES AVAILABLE

Generate Teaching Hub's Teacher Training programme is an innovative approach to initial teacher training and a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to ‘learn on the job.’

This is a school-based training programme, accredited by Liverpool Hope University, that allows graduates to become teachers. Successful trainees are awarded PGCE with QTS at the end of the course.

The one year programme consists of 3 placement opportunities, a vast range of training days, enrichment experiences and visits.

Graduate entry requirements include:

  • degree classification 2:1 or above
  • grade C or above in Maths, English and Science
