The top ten best performing primary schools in Warrington have been revealed and three WPAT schools have secured TOP TEN spots.

The latest performance figures show 61 per cent of children across England reached the expected standard across reading, writing and maths when assessed at the end of the 2023-24 academic year.

In Warrington this was slightly higher at 68 per cent. Warrington Guardian recently reported on the league table provided by the Department for Education, which showed all the schools across the borough and how they ranked.

  • BRUCHE placed first in the list, with 97 per cent of pupils meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
  • In fourth place, EVELYN STREET. At the school, 91 per cent of pupils met the required standard in these three subjects.
  • Coming ninth on the list, ALDERMAN BOLTON where 83 per cent of pupils met the required standard.

Congratulations to staff and pupils on your well-deserved success!
