Chris Forrest - Chair

Chris has extensive experience as a governor, owns a governance consultancy business and currently supports many schools and Trusts external to WPAT as an NLG. His particular focus is the strategic role of Governors and Trustees, the characteristics of effective governance, complaints handling, governor / trustee induction and the role of the Chair. His experience is supplemented by his background as an accountant and former head of workforce at three NHS trusts. He has significant experience in recruitment at senior levels in the education and health sectors also covering strategic development and implementation across all roles.
